Uchisar Castle

If you visit near sunset, you’ll be treated to a stunning display of fairy chimneys bathed in the sun’s red hues and the vibrant colors reflecting off the valley. Day 2: Goreme - Aksaray - Seydişehir - Antalya

Goreme Open-Air Museum
The Goreme Open-Air Museum, dating back to the 4th century BC, is a remarkable rock settlement that thrived as a monastic center until the 19th century. Carved into the rock, the site features churches, chapels, dining halls, and living quarters. Early Christian geometric patterns and later frescoes depicting scenes from the Bible and the life of Jesus can be seen in the various churches, including the Girls and Boys Monastery, St. Basileus Church, Elmalı Church, St. Barbara Church, Yılanlı Church, Dark Church, Çarıklı Church, and Tokalı Church.

Sultanhanı Caravanserai
Built between 1232 and 1236 by Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I, the Sultanhanı Caravanserai has been extensively restored between 2007 and 2010. This historic caravanserai offers insight into the region’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.
